Style Society: your one stop fashion shop destination
words by Kathryn Robertson
Just a stone’s throw out of the city and nestled in the trendy suburb of Norwood; you will find the very hip Style Society Boutique. Formerly known as Linea Mode and owned and managed by the charismatic mother-daughter duo, Betty Francesca and Deanna Condo, their influence on the boutiques new fresh modern look is oh so evident.
Betty Francesca says, “The vision of my boutique and the fashion landscape has evolved immensely since I first opened my doors in 1997”…. And with her daughter Deanna now holding the reigns of the business, it was a natural progression for them to re-brand in order to stay up to date with current trends.
To celebrate the re-branding of the new store, Adelaide’s fashion elite, bloggers and media attended a launch at the store on Wednesday 12th April.
Guests got to browse, mingle, drink champagne and nibble on horderves; this was the perfect girl’s night out.
There were no formalities or speeches for once, which was nice. This gave the guests time to check out the amazing clothes on show. Including labels such as Mossman, Mavi, Raw By Raw, Grace and Hart, Elliant, Ena Pelly, Cooper St, Bronx and Banco, Ministry of Style and more.
Special thanks must go to Girl About Town for the invite, and another successful event. I loved the special additions which added some creative flair to the night; cup cakes by Buttercream Co and balloons & decor by Tea Pee Party. Wines went down a treat too, supplied by Bent Creek and Monterra Wines and catering by Nice Little Things Catering Co was yummo.
“We hope our customers enjoy the new Style Society experience as much as we have enjoyed creating,” says Deanna Condo.
Style Society is located at 57 Kensington Road, Norwood, be sure to check it out ladies for your one stop shop ultimate fashion experience.
