King William Road’s Sold Out Mercedes-Benz Unley Long Lunch Keeps the Party Going with the Inaugural After Party Series

As the sun sets, Adelaide’s most iconic day of fashion will turn into its biggest night, taking the party from the runway to the dance floor.

Following a stylish daytime showcase of the finest fashion, food and wine, a series of after parties will stretch across the iconic strip, with King William Road’s best bars and restaurants lighting up the night with exclusive offerings.

“The Mercedes-Benz Unley Long Lunch is an iconic occasion that sees hundreds descend on King William Road each October in celebration of Adelaide’s premier fashion destination,” says Johnny Nasaris, King William Traders Association Chairperson.

“This year we wanted to take the event to the next level by activating the street after hours and making the most of our incredible venues.”

With the 2018 Mercedes-Benz Unley Long Lunch a sell-out event, King William Road’s after parties are set to continue the fun and flavour of Adelaide’s ultimate day out.

The after parties will see Long Lunch guests, King William Road retailers and fashion lovers from across Adelaide converge as the after-five festivities take over the street.

The style set will come alive as A-listers, locals and Adelaide’s elite sprawl across the precinct, engaging with an array of pop-up events and elegant experiences, each with its own unique focus.

The heart of the celebrations will be found at the official afterparty in the Tomich Laneway – a vibrant hub complete with flowing champagne, live music and local wines served from The Hive, Tomich Wines’ vintage ‘wine bar on wheels,’ which is free entry and open to the public.

Ticket holders will be treated to Bollinger on arrival, courtesy of The Local Wine Co, tequila and tacos from Burger Republic and delicious espresso martinis at longtime street favourite, Parisis.

The Mercedes-Benz Unley Long Lunch and King William Road after parties will set the tone for the 2018 Adelaide Fashion Festival presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide & Unley, which launches the following week on Wednesday, 17^th October.

The exclusive events will be held across King William Road from 4pm on Friday, 12^th October. A range of participating venues will embrace the luxury of the Mercedes-Benz Unley Long Lunch setting the street alight with fashion, fun and frivolity.
