KEITH URBAN “THE SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR 2022” Presented by Youi DENILIQUIN CONCERT EVENT ADDED TO URBAN’S HIGHLY ANTICIPATED AUSTRALIAN TOUR

By Tony Polese · On April 21, 2022

TEG LIVE is thrilled to announce the addition of a Deniliquin date to Keith Urban’s “THE SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR 2022”, presented by Youi, this December. The highly anticipated Australian tour will now be extended to 11 shows around the country to meet fan demand as Urban prepares to tour Australia for the first time in more than three years

The special concert event, to be held at the Deniliquin Festival Site, is confirmed for Saturday, December 10, 2022 and will be the first time that Keith has returned to the site in six years.

Urban last played live in Deniliquin back in 2016, when he headlined the Deni Ute Muster, to rapturous reviews and a sold-out crowd.  This special show promises to be an unforgettable evening of live music held against the backdrop of the Aussie outback.

“THE SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR 2022” will be the first opportunity for fans to see him perform songs from his tenth studio album, The SPEED OF NOW Part 1. The global #1 album includes the worldwide smash ‘One Too Many,’ featuring P!nk, ‘Wild Hearts’, co-written by Urban, Brad Tursi, Jennifer Wayne and Eric Paslay, ‘Polaroid,’ ‘Superman’ and ‘Out the Cage,’ which features Breland and the funk/pop icon Nile Rodgers.

Urban has just unveiled his first single of 2022, ‘Nightfalls’, a euphoric moonlit anthem co-written with Greg Kurstin (Beck, Paul McCartney) and Mozella (Madonna, Rhianna). Bound to be a crowd favourite at his forthcoming ‘THE SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR’ shows, the infectious track marks a similar return of Urban’s high-energy, in-the-moment spirit and all-round divergent musicality. Listen HERE.

The Deniliquin show’s exceptional line-up includes national tour special guest Birds of Tokyo, who recently released their brand-new single ‘Smith Street’. Opening the evening will be two of Australia’s rising talents, GRAACE and Dallas Woods.

GRAACE has worked with the likes of Hayden James and Flight Facilities, covered Avril Lavigne for triple j’s Like A Version, chalked up millions of streams, and marked herself as the breakout crossover artist to watch – stepping out with an all-female live band! Her latest EP Self-Preservation features the glorious, stripped back single Sentimental.

Dallas Woods has enjoyed incredible support from triple j and digital and streaming services and played sold out shows across the country – appearing at Bluesfest and Groovin’ The Moo and supporting the enigmatic Sampa The Great and Baker Boy.  The Noongar MC recently released his mini-LP Julie’s Boy, featuring first single ‘Grime’.

Deniliquin is in southern NSW, about 3.5 hours north of Melbourne. Fans are invited to enjoy a weekend away. All tickets come with the choice of adding an on site camping ticket, as well as transport options: return bus service travel from Deniliquin Festival Site from nearby towns and a town bus shuttle. Free parking is available on site. See here for more information on Deniliquin’s accommodation and the event transport options.

The Ville Fan Club pre-sale begins Thursday 21 April at 10am concluding on Thursday 28 April, at 9am. The Deni Festival site pre-sale commences at 10am, Friday 22 April, finishing at 9am, Thursday 28 April. The KIX Country pre-sale begins 10am, Tuesday 26 April, finishing at 9am on Thursday 28 April.

General public tickets go on sale at 12pm on Thursday 28 April.
