Adelaide Fringe Comedy Gala – 19 February 2017
What a way to open up this year’s epic Fringe Festival with the Adelaide Fringe Comedy Gala.
The Project and Australian comedy legend, Pete Helliar hosted the event on Sunday night at the beautiful Royalty Theatre.
The charity featured some of the best local, national and international comedians from this year’s Fringe proudly supporting a very special charity, Captain Courageous Foundation.
It was one of the best value for money shows at the Adelaide Fringe and featured comedy veterans such as Akmal, Lawrence Mooney, Dave Hughes and Tom Gleeson and some ofthe best new talent including: Nath Volvo, Georgie Carroll and Yianni Agisilaou.
Pete Helliar is fantastic as the host and be prepared to be involved in the show, particularly if you are sitting in the front row. Pete tells great stories about turning being a Father of 3 kids that travels interstate regularly and the importance of trust in his relationship.
Pete also opens up about turning 40 recently and shares some great stories about his life so far.
You’ll laugh all night at the best talent from the 2017 Fringe Festival.
