Seven very fit young performers – four female, three male – and a long piece of rope form the basis for a very spectacular performance. There was no interaction with the crowd, just a lot of jaw-dropping feats of human endurance.
The troupe interacted well, and we witnessed everything from acrobatics, gymnastics, human step-ladders (yes – go and see to find out!!), strength, poise, and just about every possible feat that could be performed with about 30+ metres of rope. The performers seemed to take it in turns to perform amazing activities from the top of the circus tent without safety nets, yet make it look effortless.
The show was well-choreographed and the performers were faultless. It was one of those performances where interaction with the audience was not necessary and, perhaps, would have detracted from the superb abilities of these young athletes.
Comments from the crowd as they left the arena were all positive and everyone was spellbound by their skills and athleticism. A great show and well-worth seeing.
