What: All The Best From Edinburgh … to Adelaide
Where: Historian Hotel – upstairs
Duration: 1 hour
Category: Comedy

Great comedy show in the upstairs room at The Historian Hotel. If you are not sure which comedians to see at The Fringe, then this gives you a taste with an MC who introduces each of the three British comedians to perform a 15-minute segment each.
The MC’s opening story was OK, not overly funny, but then we were treated to three seasoned comedians from the Edinburgh Festival – a Scot, an Irishman and an Englishman.
The Scottish lady informed us all about her menopausal sweats which was funny and entertaining – despite being a much-used topic by female comedians over the years! The best for me was the Irishman, who could have kept going all night if he hadn’t been getting the wind-up signal from our MC. I was so impressed with him that I have booked for his full show (Dirty Tattooed Circus Bastards). Last but not least was the English/Jamaican comedian who, not surprisingly, taunted Australians about cricket-cheating and our convict heritage amongst other topics.
A great laugh and a show well worth seeing – even just to get a taste of what the comedians’ full shows may be like. I am not sure if it is the same lineup each show, but I expect it may change – which is a good excuse to see it several times to see other top entertainers.
