WAFIA SHARES NEW SINGLE ‘I’M GOOD’;
ANNOUNCES ‘I’M GOOD WORLD TOUR’
INCLUDING NORTH AMERICAN DATES WITH LOUIS THE CHILD
Brisbane-based artist WAFIA returns with her infectiously unapologetic new single, ‘I’m Good’. The track was co-written by Wrabel (Ellie Goulding, Adam Lambert) and produced by Grammy nominated writer John Hill (Portugal. the Man, Foster The People) and Roget Chahayed. Listen HERE.
Wafia says of the song, “I’m Good is an attempt at writing a self-fulfilling prophecy. At the time I could foresee heartbreak that I was going to have to work through and I wanted to write the song that I’d want to hear at the end of it all. There was this running joke between myself and Wrabel that we’d love to write a song with the word ‘loser’ in it and the song came together very quickly after that.”
The release of ‘I’m Good’ comes in the midst of Wafia’s biggest year yet. Noted as one of Billboard’s Dance’s Ones To Watch, the bold singer-songwriter of Iraqi-Syrian descent recently made waves lending her angelic vocals to Louis the Child’s smash hit summer jam ‘Better Not’ and singles last year, “‘Only Love’, ‘Bodies’, ‘83 Days’ off her celebrated VIII EP. ‘Better Not’ has accumulated over 65 millions of online streams, peaking at #8 on the US Viral Chart, #14 on the Global Viral Chart, #116 on the Global Top 200 and is currently sitting at #15 at Dance radio. Wafia joined also the duo to perform the song during their sets at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
Amidst working on her next release on Future Classic, Wafia will take on her I’m Good World Tour, beginning in Australia this October. See dates and details below.
