Eventalaide was privileged to witness the Bloom tour in Adelaide at the Entertainment Centre Theatre on Wednesday 18th September 2019.
Troye Sivan is only 24 years old and was born in South Africa. His family left South Africa when he was two as it was not safe. They resided in Perth. He is an Australian singer, songwriter. His career began on you tube and Australian talent competitions.
The crowd was super excited and enjoyed listening to the support act. Thelma Plum had an amazing voice and witty attitude. We have an enormous amount of talent in Australia.
Troye Sivan’s theme in Adelaide was Heaven and Hell, which was portrayed by many fans . The theme does change for each leg of the tour.
His first song was 17, followed by Bloom and Plum. He oozes attention with his charisma, moves and magnetic attitude.
Troye interacted with his fans as they were his long lost friends. They listened to every word he said.
A touching moment was when Troye mentioned seeing a female fan on twitter who had made an amazing headpiece for the stow. He thanked her and we all admired the masterpiece she created. She was extremely proud to be acknowledged by Troye.
He looked extremely stylish throughout the show and his dance moves were energetic and fun.
The crowd was jumping, swaying, dancing, singing and enjoyed every single moment.
The set changes were great, especially when a sofa was on stage with surrounding lamps. Not only did it bring atmosphere to his songs but he could relax while performing them.
The lighting was mesmerising and was suitable to his music. He performed a total of 14 songs which included Heaven, I’m so tired, Animal and Youth to name a few.
He made everyone feel special and expressed how our differences make us unique. His empathetic manner and great humour makes him extremely special and he has already achieved great things at such a young age.
I give this concert 9/10 as the lights were quite bright in some performances but overall he is an extremely talented singer, songwriter and performer and I recommend his concert to everyone.
