“the beat makers pack one hell of a punch from start to finish”
– Purple Sneakers
With a nationwide road trip on the horizon, BOO Seeka aim to incite only the craziest of dance moves during upcoming shows with the release of the video for their single ‘Millennium Drive’.
“Millennium Drive” landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday AU and Indie Arrivals and Apple Music’sBest of the Week, as well as snapping rotation on triple j. It’s the most galvanising release from the two dream-tronic beat makers and it materialised in just 15 minutes. Combining BOO’s signature vocal over a myriad of drum-and-bass-like beats and climbing synth sounds, it’s a fiery three minute journey on a sonic highway.
Accompanying the track is a video that is just as dynamic as its counterpart, featuring BOO himself busting some of his signature moves with a brief appearance from Mikey. BOO states “running with the theme of this track, this video was like smashing the crap out of a punching bag. Leaving me puffed and released from the inevitable stress we seem to put on ourselves in everyday life.”
Taking ‘Millennium Drive’ for a spin, BOO Seeka hit eleven locations in June and July ahead of the release of their second album – the follow up to 2017’s hugely successful debut, Never Too Soon. Both the Sydney show and first Melbourne show are now sold out with the boys adding a second and final Melbourne show. They’re joined on all ‘Millennium Drive’ Australian Tour shows by good friend and party starter TUKA. Newcomer Laura Hyde also joins the band for all East Coast shows.
BOO Seeka are hoping their fans can truly ‘let it go’ alongside them at these upcoming shows which will serve as a fitting warm up for the band’s second album landing later this year.
‘Millennium Drive’ is OUT NOW via Sureshaker.
