TROYE SIVAN
ANNOUNCES DONATION FROM EVERY TICKET SOLD ON THE BLOOM TOUR TO SUPPORT LGBTQIA+ CAUSES THROUGH BEYOND BLUE, MINUS18 & RAINBOWYOUTH
TICKETS ON SALE TODAY!
Tickets go on sale at 1pm today for global popstar TROYE SIVAN’s long-awaited homecoming tour – The Bloom Tour heading to capital cities around Australia this September.
Today Sivan announced that $1 from every ticket sold will be donated in support of Beyond Blue and Minus18 in Australia and RainbowYOUTH in New Zealand.
“I’m so excited to be working with BeyondBlue and Minus18 on The Bloom Tour in Australia and with RainbowYOUTH in New Zealand – it was organisations like these who were there for me when I needed them most, and I’m honoured to be able to help support them now by wiggling around on stage,” stated Sivan.
Georgie Harman, Beyond Blue CEO, said: “Beyond Blue is thrilled that an artist of Troye’s profile and calibre is sharing our message of hope, recovery and resilience, and helping fund our 24/7 Support Service.
“We’re proud to support the mental health of everyone in Australia. And we celebrate the strength, resilience and diversity of LGBTI communities who sadly continue to face prejudice and discrimination that affects their mental health. Thank you, Troye.”
Tony Lee, Acting CEO for Minus18 said, “We’re honoured to have the support and recognition from such an inspirational role model – we love you Troye! These proceeds will help to fund free events and inclusive workshops to enable young LGBTQIA+ Australians to feel empowered, validated and safe in their identities. Troye’s music inspires so much joy, pride and friendship at Minus18 events so it’s fitting that his contribution will help foster these into the future.”
Perth-raised Troye Sivan is touring in support of his sophomore album, Bloom featuring the US Top 100 and ARIA double-platinum smash hit ‘My My My!’ (sensationally performed with Taylor Swift at her Rose Bowl show last year) and Gold-certified singles ‘Bloom’ and ‘Dance To This’ featuring Ariana Grande.
