New York-based multi platinum selling UK singer-songwriter, composer, and producer Coyle Girelli (you might remember him from his song with Peking Duck frontman Adam Hyde’s solo project, Keli Holiday – Song Goes On) has just released his new single True Love Forever; a track full of heart written for, and taken from, an upcoming theatre production with Third Rail Projects. An ode to love, captivating melodies and an almost ethereal beat, this is a definitely worth a listen! [Listen: Watch True Love Forever]
Accompanying this track is a beautifully filmed dance production that sees Coyle and the theatre troupe moving through some of New York City’s famous subways, in an expression of what it means to fall in love at first sight. [Watch: True Love Forever]
TOP 5 FAVE GIGS OF ALL TIME
- Wembley Arena – opening for White Lies at Wembley Arena was a special one. We played a killer show to a packed house. It’s a special place.
- Harlem Apollo – last year I got to play at the legendary Apollo in Harlem, NY opening up for the Psychedelic Furs. What a magical venue. The history, the ghosts of genius’ past walking the corridors. We were given what was Ray Charles’ dressing room. It was magic and the show was one of my favorites ever.
- Central Park, NY – opening up for Duran Duran – we did 2 nights back to back at the Summerstage in Central Park, NYC. There’s not much more to add than that. Perfect.
- Ed Sullivan Theater – The Chevin’s US Network television debut on the David Letterman show. The history on that stage needs no introduction. There’s a video of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eM66BIrpaQ I love David’s reaction at the end of the performance.
- Lollapalooza – first time i played Lollapalooza a few years ago. It’s my favorite US festival and had a really special show there the first time I played it. Awesome crowd and playing on stage while seeing the Chicago city lights all around you is pretty cool.
