A short history: in 1973 won the Come Out Battle of the Bands in Adelaide. 1977 – Signed with an agency and Management and in 1978, moved to Sydney. All living in a four bedroom house in Lewisham for $80 a week! If you have ever read, “He Died With a Falafel in Hand”, that is what life was like in 1978 Lewisham. Rehearsing every day, downstairs in a shopfront and working five nights a week playing all original music, supporting everyone from The Ramones to INXS. 1980 – changed their name to Damaged Goods, cut their hair, and headlined the infamous Bondi Lifesaver wearing pyjamas onstage! 1981 – Things came crashing down with line up changes and illness. With the band still flat broke and spirits low. Early that year they broke up, the end of an amazing three years amongst the Sydney Live music scene; where Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil and The Angels were KINGs living their rock n roll dreams every night of the week.
