LUPE FIASCO reinvigorated hip hop with the release of his highly anticipated debut album, 2006’s Food & Liquor. Creative, imaginative and void of all hip-hop clichés, the album waxed poetic on personal and political plights, paving the path for a socially conscious superstar to emerge.
