Fresh from touring Australia with City and Colour, Little May are preparing to undertake their biggest headline tour to date next month. Unfortunately due to scheduling issues, E^ST will no longer be joining the band in Adelaide, Tasmania and Perth, instead being replaced by a special guest in Adelaide, Perth dream-pop outfit Childsaint, and Hobart’s Violet Swells who will join the tour for their respective hometowns.
Little May today also reveal a live VEVO Session of Sinks – a powerful single from their debut album‘For the Company’, produced and recorded in NYC with Aaron Brooking Dessner (The National).
Slacker indie-pop band Australia will open the show in Sydney and Canberra, whilst Wollongong will see them share support duties with Bec Sandridge. In Newcastle, Lachlan x Morris join the mix, and Rob Muinos will accompany Little May in Melbourne. Adelaide will see local gem Koral kick things off, while Empire Park and Morgan Bain take opening honors in Hobart and Perth respectively.Azura will open at both Sunshine Coast and Brisbane shows, with The Ruiins up for support in the Gold Coast.
Little May released ‘For the Company’ late last year which landed them the FBi ‘Album of the Week’, triple j Feature Album, and saw them sell out shows across France, Germany, the US, UK and Australia. Currently sitting over 20 million Spotify streams, Little May have topped the Hype Machine charts and had airplay across BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, KCRW and triple j.
Renowned for their engaging, stirring and stunning live shows, Little May have supported the likes ofCloud Control, Angus and Julia Stone, Cold War Kids and Rodriguez. Their stunning performances have been experienced at Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Bonnaroo, Gentlemen of the Road, The Great Escape and CMJ, where they were named one of the ‘11 Breakout Acts of CMJ’.
