Homebrewed 2
Pouring At The Adelaide Showgrounds
January 21 – 23
HomeBrewed 2 returns to the Adelaide Showground’s Hamilton Boulevard and surrounds on January 21, 22 and 23. An open air and (hopefully) sun drenched party that will not only celebrate the best in brewers, beers, and BBQ, but will champion of all the best things ‘South Aussie’.
It’ll be the biggest South Australian celebration for your ears and your mouth. Brewers, distillers, winemakers, chefs, artisans and a diverse line-up of world-class South Australian artists on stage across 4 sessions and 3 days.
Today’s first line-up announcement for the on-stage entertainment is headlined by indie heavyweights Bad//Dreems, wunderkid producer and disco-purveyor Luke Million (in full live format). With Gen X, Y & Z icon, Peter Combe who will be performing in ‘adult’ mode on Saturday night and ‘family’ mode on the child and dog-friendly Sunday session.
Other highlights of the packed entertainment line-up include rising stars Teenage Joans, the enigmatic Shaolin Afronauts, powerhouse First Nations storytellers Marlon x Rulla(with full band), Arctic Monkey’s devotees Fluorescent Adolescents and emerging singer-songwriter Tilly Tjala Thomas and heaps more, including a yet-to-be -released DJ line-up.

The stacked line-up of food and beverage purveyors will be released in December, featuring some very special festival-only stalls, and unique interstate invitees of local brewers plus outstanding selections at Wine Country and Gilbert Street Hotel activations.
The carnival atmosphere will be supercharged with; sideshows, a market bazaar, tattoo shop, barbers, the SABC Homebrew Comp, the AFE Strong Man Exhibition and the return of the ubiquitous Beer Bod Wet T-Shirt Comp to close out proceedings late Sunday afternoon.
“COVID meant that we weren’t able to get Beer and BBQ Happening this year, but we are excited to be able to bring the best in the business together for Homebrewed in January.“ said festival co-founder Aaron Sandow.
“It’s become a massive all-in South Aussie party. The Friday night line-up on stage is something really fresh for us, some heavy beat influenced stuff and a disco party by Luke Million to close the night will be a real good time and the Saturday will certainly appeal to the rock’n’roll purists but really who would miss Peter Combe in full swing on a Saturday night.”
“Given the continuing COVID situation, we are asking all ticket holders to be fully vaccinated when they come the festival and there will be other appropriate COVID measurea in place to ensure that we can be as COVID safe as possible while still kicking the festival into full gear!”
The inaugural Homebrewed was hosted in February of 2021, intended as a one-time only special ‘pivot’ event to keep punters lubricated between the covid-felled Beer & BBQ Festival. Championing South Australian beer, BBQ and music over; 10,000 punters streamed through the gates! Such a bloody good time was had that the festival is back, expanded and set to become a much bigger and regular summertime beast!
