Falls Festival 2017/2018 Our Biggest Shows To Date

By Tony Polese · On January 14, 2018

FALLS FESTIVAL 2017/18
OUR BIGGEST SHOWS TO DATE!
Falls Festival’s summer Silver Jubilee were our biggest shows to date with all four venues completely selling out! With increased capacities across Byron and Fremantle, we saw over 80,000 ticket holders through our golden gates across the New Year period. We’d like to thank all of our patrons for coming along and celebrating the start of 2018, we had an absolute blast.

Bringing in the New Year in style for our East Coast shows were Run The Jewels in Lorne, Peking Duk in Marion Bay and Flume in Byron. Other massive musical highlights included sign-alongs with Liam Gallagher, Daryl Braithwaite, Angus & Julia Stone, The Kooks and Fleet Foxes. Dance-alongs with Glass Animals, Jungle, Vince Staples and Foster The People. Rocking-out with Dune Rats, DZ Deathrays, Ecca Vandal and The Smith Street Band. So much awesome music packed into the best few days this summer, take a look!

Icing on the cake! All the extras at Falls this year from our comedy programs, art installations, danceterias, micro venues, water parks, bush walks, beach cricket games, volleyball comps, beauty parlours, maker markets, bar venues and clubs were what made time onsite so much fun. With experiences around each and every corner, patrons lapped up all that Falls had to offer whilst onsite. We can’t wait to start dreaming up our next adventures for Falls 2018/19! Stay tuned for an incoming survey and have your say.

Your Choice at Falls Festival
The roll out of Your Choice at Falls Festival was a great success this year on ground, working to create a safer and more enjoyable live gathering environment for everyone. Working with artists onsite, helping to deliver a message of respect for those around you in the audience.
