All Time Low at an all time high

By Christie Thompson · On May 23, 2017

All Time Low brought tears of joy to the faces of many 20-somethings reminiscing on their early teens last Tuesday, as the band performed in Adelaide to celebrate the release of their new album, Last Young Renegade.

Supporting acts Neck Deep and The Maine had the crowd amped before the pop-punk sensation took the stage at Thebarton theatre.

In true pop-punk style, All Time Low approached their set with top notch performance, and an abundance of jokes in between including gags about the concert hall being haunted and the oh-so-Aussie nickname ‘the Thebby’ being way easier to remember than Thebarton Theatre.

The set featured tracks from their new album including Life of the Party and Last Young Renegade, while they were also sure to include some of the older anthems such as Kids in the Dark (2015), Weightless (2009), and of course, Dear Maria, Count Me In (2007).

The light show at this concert also deserves its own mention, with seriously impressive displays worthy of big-time arenas. It was evident that All Time Low has some seriously talented roadies behind them, making sure their set looks fabulous.

Being the bands eighth time touring Australia, heartthrob lead singer Alex Gaskarth left the crowd after a fantastic encore with a pinky swear, “I promise this time it will not take two and a half years, we will be here before then!” to which he received a round of applause and an abundance of high-pitched screams.

Well Alex, I think its safe to say that your Adelaide fans will be looking forward to it!

10/10 from us.
