ONE AMAZING NIGHT FILLED WITH MUSIC, FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT.
Monday 20th January will see the return of the Tourrific Prospect Street Party from 6 – 11pm, as Prospect Road is once again immersed in a colourful celebration of music, shopping and entertainment.
Within Adelaide’s newest revamped premier shopping and dining destination, Tourrific will extend from the recently opened new Council and community building, Payinthi, past the Palace Nova cinema complex to Meze Mazi. This year will continue the Tourrific Street Party tradition as local, national and international guests enjoy Prospect’s diverse, creative and colourful community, extending the energy and excitement that is the Santos Tour Down Under.
Tourrific will be home to four stages dotted along the near kilometre of event space, hosting 12 of Adelaide’s finest musical acts, from the electronic pop sounds from the nationally acclaimed Alpha Street, the African drumming of Bortier Okoe, the feel-good, uplifting soul, funk and blackened blues from The Honey Badgers, and the acoustic folk of solo musician Trav Collins.
Tourrific will see a range of performances from some of Prospect’s most talented and culturally diverse performing arts organisations take to the stage, including fire spinning from Dragon Mill, the Phap Hoa Lion Dance troupe will be unmissable, and Bamboozled Productions will weave amongst the crowd keeping young and old entertained throughout the evening.

The Vine Street Artisan Market returns with over fifteen craft and hobby stalls, including EarArt by Renate, hand-made unique one of a kind wall art and home decor from My Little Print Studio and Bec By Design, plus exquisite earrings from Blush Luxe, Ali Bull and Garden to Gallery. For those who enjoy a culinary delight, Tourrific will offer over 80 various vendors, with cuisines from every corner of the globe including Thai from PunThai, Taste of Spain’s famous paella, tapas, churros, and sangria. For those with a sweet tooth, Lukoumades – The Greek Donut and Popsicoolhave you covered, to quench your summer thirst will be Prospects own Brew Boys Brewery and their delicious range of craft beers, and for those of all ages, Bubble Bus Bubble Tea will be a family highlight. The iconic Loopy Kids – sponsored by Blackfriars Priory School – returns to Tourrific and has already seen a spectacular increase in attendance with places filling fast. The circuit, from Labrina Avenue to Pulsford Road, will see Prospects youngest riders get on their bikes and emulate their cycling heroes – to secure your child’s place in this iconic race, register here: https://www.prospect.sa.gov.au/explore/events/loopy-kids After the frantic fun of Loopy Kids, children can be entertained throughout the evening within the Tourrific kids Area and activations scattered throughout the precinct. They will get moving with Point A giving them an opportunity to learn some great techniques, parents can play off against the children in large games and watch them nail the Life-Be-in-it obstacle course. For something calmer, they have the chance to colour in a real chalkboard car, or try their hand to recreate some French art. |
