The Oxford Hotel Unveils New Look and Feel

By Tony Polese · On June 15, 2016

Get acquainted with the recently revamped Oxford Hotel! New owners, Grant and Anastasia Murray, have transformed the Oxford Hotel, merging all the traditional favourites with a strong artistic flair, alongside innovative new offerings for the ultimate contemporary pub experience.
Grant and Anastasia have a deep love of art, expression, live music and creativity in all forms, and are sharing this with Adelaide in the freshly revived venue. The Oxford Hotel has been transformed with inspired murals; creating a moody, worldly space for people to meet and enjoy time together.
Grant Murray says, “My wife and I have travelled all around the world, and the first places we visit are all the art galleries – big, small, old or new, modern or left-of-centre. Experiencing art is a lifestyle for us, and we want to share this with our patrons.
“We value good food, good art and good company, and our goal is to bring this together in one incredible space. We want the Oxford Hotel to make a statement, ignite the imagination, provoke thought and inspire the soul.
“Alongside the new look and feel we will be introducing some exciting initiatives in the coming weeks including ‘ArtSmash,’ live music from local acts that are true artists, and wine tastings, with more to be announced,” says Grant Murray.
The Oxford Hotel’s new Head Chef, Symon Conway-Lyden, will be introducing a fresh menu reflecting the artistic energy and passion injected by the owner’s vision.
“The new menu will be creative moving towards a more organic and sustainable approach, inclusions of unique vegetarian and vegan dishes, creating a diverse range of meals to tantalise all taste buds,” says Symon Conway-Lyden.
Centrally located in North Adelaide, gather your friends for a good feed and great entertainment in a truly bespoke venue. The Oxford Hotel prides itself on nurturing local talent and providing something different, so experience it for yourself and make it your new local.
