Tasting Australia Daily Diary – Wednesday 3 May

Meet Marco at the Tasting Australia Town Square

International culinary icon Marco Pierre White will take centre stage at Town Square tomorrow night
for a special free event.

As part of Town Square’s Chef’s Journey event series Marco will take guests on a journey from his
beginnings in the food industry to where he is now. Fans can send in questions to Marco using the
hashtags #ASKMPW and #tastingaus. The event will be followed by an exclusive book signing.

Marco’s food is enjoyed in more than 30 restaurants throughout England and Ireland. The
internationally renowned chef is fierce but focused, demanding but dedicated, and embodies a
standard of excellence most chefs strive for and diners save to experience.

Prior to Marco taking the stage, chefs Analiese Gregory and Alex Herbert will also take part in Chef’s
Journey and share their culinary stories.

Tasting Australia creative director Simon Bryant said fans were in for a treat.

“We know how much interest and support there is for Marco and this is a rare chance to hear his
insights and secrets of success,” he said.

Tasting Australia’s showpiece restaurant, Glasshouse Kitchen, will be taken over by the World’s Best
Female Chef Ana Ros, Paul Carmichael of Australia’s reigning hottest restaurant Momofuku Seiobo
and global trailblazer Jock Zonfrillo for a full-flavoured dining experience.

Together the three will celebrate an Australian institution – the ‘anti wine show’ Hot 100 Wines –
born through The Adelaide Review and commemorating 10 outstanding seasons in 2017.

Across the CBD at Madame Hanoi, guests will join internationally acclaimed Chef Nic Watt for a
shared feast of dishes inspired by his travels and passions.

Up in the Adelaide Hills a hands on experience will take place at Sinclair Gully Winery’s Fizzology
session where guests will be guided through the delicate process of making fine sparkling wine.

There is no better place to discover and taste Australia’s best than in South Australia. Tasting
Australia is on now until Sunday 8 May.
