Celebrating over twenty five years, and its 18th consecutive run at the Adelaide Fringe, Faulty Towers shows no signs of declining in popularity as evident by the sold out audience on this Monday night.
The night starts with some pre – dinner drinks at the Terrace Restaurant bar and not before long, we are all part of the show as chaos develops with Manuel and Basil working through the seating arrangements to hilarious results. Sybil directs the diners which are large in number to their table and any names difficult to pronounce including mine, are met with a sneer.
As we enter the main dining area, more chaos eventuates with bread rolls flying around. It’s a very interactive show and audience members play a big part of the show with some guests receiving some hilarious negative comments about them. The verbal dialogue in the show is hilarious but also the non-verbal expressions by all three actors. They all play their part perfectly and with great chemistry as well between all three. Two hours of many belly laughs can be expected with this iconic show on the Adelaide Fringe program.
The three course dinner was delicious making this a fantastic night out.
