Ryderwear Event Review

By Tony Polese · On September 24, 2017

The team from Eventalaide were excited to be attending the prestigious Ryderwear relauch runway event on Friday night at the Published Arthouse, and we were far from disappointed.  It was a glamorous, fun and impressive evening with Ryderwear launching two new collections, ‘Nineties’ and ‘Essentials.’

Let’s take a moment to go back to where it all began – In 2010, David Lukic began trading his bodybuilding gym wear range from his grandma’s garage.  Fast forward to 2017, Lukic has hired Head Designer Jessica Salvi, has 25 employees and is expanding his designs to suit the wider fitness market.  An inspiring South Australian success story to say the least.

The Ryderwear Relaunch Runway Event was creatively glamorous, innovative and boasted a state of the art audio visual display.  The surprises began on arrival with delightful finger food, yummy cocktail slushies and fine wine on offer, along with some great perks, such as a life size custom made Ryderwear photobooth and exclusive gift bags.

The Fashion Show was energetic, vibrant and exciting, showcasing 120 new styles of fitness apparel which will take you straight from daytime casual wear and into the gym for a workout.  The ‘Nineties’ collection is a fun range using a combination of colours red, navy and white. The ‘Essentials’ range was designed to be a ‘staple range’ boasting black, white and grey colours, reflecting Rydewear’s signature look.

Much to our delight, the evening did not end after the Fashion Show!  Guests kicked on and continued to enjoy the night with some dancing, cocktails and of course, great company.
