Review: Dat Place

By Tony Polese · On October 16, 2019

A wood oven restaurant cocktail lounge with house made drinks, pizza, pasta and Australia’s biggest burger!?

That’s right! Dat Place is the newest hidden gem on the far side of Hindley Street soon to be very popular no doubt), with exclusive and extremely delicious cocktails, and with their special 2 for 1 drinks deal happening at the moment, there’s no excuse not to check it out!

Johnny, owner of the restaurant and bar, has gone to great lengths to follow his dream with great passion and dedication to make Dat Place ‘the place’ to go for your night out in the city. Whether it be for pre-dinner drinks or a place to chill out with your friends, Dat Place has it covered, with live music, great service and catering for events too! Besides the restaurant with main bar, there’s a dedicated lounge setup room with its own side bar and balcony that overlooks the town.

With some of the largest portion sized parmys, schnitzels and burgers I have ever seen, there’s a big menu to match, with vegetarian options available as well, they cater to the hungriest of people.

I personally guarantee you won’t be disappointed with the quality and quantity of the food, and with the kitchen open until the late hours of the night, it’s the perfect place for that late-night snack to sober up too.

Eventalaide is also proud to announce that we will be hosting the official media launch for Dat Place, on November 1st

Stop on by the next time you’re in town!

You’ll find Dat Place upstairs at 279A Hindley Street, Adelaide, SA 5000
