Pressed Tin Cafe 215 Grote Street, Adelaide SA 5000

Pressed Tin Cafe and Early Settler have combined forces to bring to you Adelaide’s newest spot to enjoy bridal showers, engagement parties, weddings, and High Tea events in a classy and sophisticated fashion. Additionally, the establishment also offers services for bridal registries – a great accompaniment for the events that you may be attending in the future, in case you’re in need of a gift!

Pressed Tin Cafe is a cute little cafe that has found its home alongside Early Settler (a furniture store), where you can be treated to delicious bites and freshly brewed tea and coffee on site. The cafe boasts of providing their customers with healthy and tasty meals for breakfast and lunch. They also cater to a number of dietary requirements, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, so you can be assured to find something for everyone.

The space offers customers with the opportunity to use it as their playground, depending on the function they’re looking to host here. Each comfy, cushiony chair presented with a beautiful vintage touch, and the tables seemed to have been made for High Teas. There was a strong, celebratory vibe and it is easy to see why Pressed Tin Cafe would be an ideal spot to host an event as special as an engagement, a bridal shower, or even a wedding.

Upon walking into Pressed Tin Cafe on their launch night, we were invited to walk under a gorgeous, delicately-designed archway that almost resembled the top portion of a bird cage. I felt greeted to an alternative form of a fairy land. Balloons galore, bubbles upon welcome, and a picturesque array of cupcakes set up for a High Tea – we knew we were in for a good night!

There were a number of local businesses involved with the catering and entertainment for the night. We were treated to intoxicating wines courtesy of De Lisio Wines. We were invited to don the craziest, extravagant, and creative props at a funky photo booth. We were also later asked to strap on our dancing shoes as a small space within the establishment was branded the ‘dance floor’ for the night, where all guests boogied to the tunes played at the DJ station by Joe Kamleh.

Of course, given that this event was primarily a High Tea style event, there were raspberry and lemon flavoured cupcakes, courtesy of Heidelberg Cakes, which not only looked divine, but tasted like little bites of heaven. They were crafted beautifully and tasted fresh, with a super soft and fluffy texture.

All in all, the entertainment at this event was well-enjoyed by everyone who attended. And if this is the level of fun that was experienced by us, then your next social event here with friends and family will be well worth it! You can also find snaps from the launch event here, courtesy Jason Wong Photography.

Special thanks to Vanessa for organizing this event and to all those involved in making this event a huge success.
