VARIETY ON KING WILLIAM BACK OF HOUSE CREW WALKED FROM
ADELAIDE TO BRISBANE IN ONE DAY
The numbers are in! The Variety on King William back of house crew
combined their walking kilometers from last Friday’s event and the total is equivalent to
walking from Adelaide to Brisbane.
A whopping 1934 KM was the combined total of kilometers from the team behind the scenes, who for the first time tracked the distance on fitness watches supplied by Novatech Creative Event Technology.
Event organiser, Gabrielle Leonello said that everyone from models, sound guys and waiters were recorded.
“I always knew we walked a lot on the day, however this number blew me away. I think next time we will look for a corporate business to sponsor the kilometers walked on the day and donate that money to Variety SA,” she said.
Variety on King William once again delivered a fabulous day to more than 720 guests,
despite the rainy start in the morning.
Guests enjoyed a four-course Asian inspired menu by Ichitaro Dining, Light Bulb Café, Parisi’s, Stumps Bistro, Mulots Patisserie and By Blackbird matched with fine SA wines from Tomich, Fox Gordon and Wicks Estate.
The latest Spring/Summer trends from King William Road were showcased by 45 models in a gorgeous runway show on Adelaide’s longest runway.
Another highlight was that the event hit its $20,000 fundraising target, raising money for the silent victims of domestic violence this Christmas – our SA kids.
The event couldn’t have happened without the princely support from businesses such as

Variety on King William has featured on the Adelaide Fashion Festival program for the past five years since its inception.
