The western suburbs will host a new market from April 17 and every third Sunday thereafter at the Titanium Security Arena grounds on Crittenden Road, Findon.
With the huge lawned area in front of the Arena venue itself, the space is perfect for those looking sell their handicrafts, fashion or clear out any unwanted goods and make a few extra dollars. As the saying goes, ‘one person’s junk is another person’s treasure’ and the Titanium Arena Boot Sale is the perfect outlet to anyone with junk or seeking treasure!
“We’re fortunate the space in front of the Arena is massive and lends itself perfectly to this type of activity which is lacking in this part of town” said Titanium Security Arena CEO Guy Hedderwick.
The inaugural market will open to the public 8am – noon and is one of a host of activities the venue management team has been looking at for some time to make best use of the arena and its surrounds out of basketball season.
Titanium Security Arena is already proving popular for functions, exhibitions and corporate events – it was even the location for a Hollywood movie last year.
Its layout and large capacity lends itself to, and is also proving popular as a multisport venue with the Thunderbirds playing their match v Melbourne Vixens on 10th April and has previously been used for a variety of martial arts events, cheerleading championships, volleyball and badminton.
