Sing no spoiler review – ‘oh I feel good’

I think Illumination did it again with Sing!

From the creator of the 2010 animation hit Despicable Me, Illumination is bringing a joyful Sing that everyone can enjoy. I mean, everyone.

Walking in to the Sing premiere at Marion Event Cinemas on the morning of last Saturday, I felt this cheerful vibe. Why? There are kids everywhere!

Sing is a movie that you can bring your kids with you. It is a movie where you can enjoy as a family. I often hear family with young kids complaining that they can’t go to the movies because their kids won’t sit still.

Worry no more as Sing is the movie to take your family out of the house for almost two hours of cheerful joy this Christmas holiday.

I’m not going to spoil you with anything because even if it’s a cheerful movie, the story line will still play with your emotions from happy and cheerful to having you holding your breath.

So follow an entrepreneur koala Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey) on a journey to save his theatre from bankruptcy with a singing competition. Set in a world like ours but all the livings are animal. These animals are adorable to say the least and they are super relatable to us as humans. Featuring more than 85 hit songs, Buster Moon’s singing competition will bring you five lead contestants (voiced by Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, and Tori Kelly) from all walks of live. Just like our world.

Sing is dramatic, musical, comedic, and just pure fun. If you’re looking for a movie that your whole entirely family can enjoy then Sing is without a doubt that movie even if the ending is quite predictable!

Released this boxing day in Australia, book your tickets now!
