A Grand Night at The Regal
With Rhonda Burchmore

Following a complete refurbishment to its glorious art deco style, The Regal Theatre will celebrate its re-opening with a weekend of exemplary entertainment.

These red carpet events will be kicking off with  “A Grand Night at the Regal with Rhonda Burchmore” on the evening of Friday 16th October and a further matinee performance on Saturday 17th October.  Accompanied by her musical director Jack Earle on the Grand Piano,  Rhonda will take the audience on a musical journey back to a time of nostalgia and glamour befitting this magnificent jewel of a theatre.

Situated on Kensington Road, Kensington Park this beloved heritage listed theatre built in 1925 has previously been known as the Chelsea Cinema, the Princess Theatre and the Marryatville Ozone Theatre.

Rhonda Burchmore, is no stranger to any of us having performed from Sydney to London’s West End.  A 21st century theatrical chameleon, Rhonda’s wide variety of shows illuminate her versatility and commitment to reinvention. From sultry jazz to the invigorating adventures of music divas; Rhonda seamlessly transitions from genre to genre.

Hosted by Glam Adelaide’s Kelly Noble and
Officially opened by Premiere Steven Marshall,
“ A Grand Night at The Regal with Rhonda Burchmore” is a cause for celebration on many levels.

“Rhonda Burchmore has glamour galore, with her red hair swaying down her bare back, her silvery sequinned reflection in that glossy black grand piano… and a phenomenal voice” — Arts Hub

“She sings like a trouper, and there is no way she needs autotune, from the tenderest to the brassiest, every note is sure and strikes home.”
