On a perfect summer night, I ventured to the Moonlight cinemas to bring some action into my Sunday night through the Accountant movie.
The movie commences as we see the future accountant in his child years which was a troubled period in his life. The movie seems to focus a lot on his brother too which seems strange at the time but becomes evident later in the film.
The Accountant is played by Ben Afflic who plays the role strongly.
The start of the film seems a little slow as it builds background to the storyline. And probably causes the duration of the movie to feel a little dragged on (movie exceeds two hours).
Action seems kick into gear and this is where the film begins to improve as the storyline unreveils before our eyes and seeing the two sides of the accountant is fascinating.
I think the storyline could have been developed more with the accountant and a supporting female actress where a romance is teased but really doesnt go anywhere.
There is a strong ending to the movie though where all questions you may have during the movie are answered.
