A sweet girl with a kind heart makes the perfect prey for a psychopath.
Never trust strangers, you never know what alterior motifs they may have.
Greta Hideg is a lonely woman with an obsession of being a mother, only that not to of her own children…
Frances McCullen, a young girl in her twenties, with a mother who’s died and moved to the big city with her longtime friend, Erica Penn (a Blake Lively lookalike) gets sucked into Greta’s kind and alluring and innocent ways, until she becomes her close friend. And only then does she realise she’s in danger. She becomes stalked by her until she’s eventually kidnapped and locked away in her ‘box’, only to be forced to act as her daughter in her sick manipulation.
A bit of a slow start, but I was thoughroughly impresed with Greta, with exceptional acting from Chloë Grace Moretz.
With lots of twists you’ll think you know where the story’s going, and then you’ll be shocked!
What makes this movie scary is the fact that everything in it could very easily happen to any one of us…
An intense modern thriller.
