MOONLIGHT’S FEBRUARY PROGRAM DELIVERS
ADVANCE SCREENINGS, SPIELBERG CLASSICS
AND FILMS FOR LOVERS

Moonlight Cinema, presented by Aussie continues its stellar summer of hit flicks this February with a program jam-packed with action, romance, drama and laughs.

Celebrating 25 years, Moonlight Cinema takes place in sprawling parklands across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth. With large outdoor locations and tailored measures set up to ensure cleanliness and comfort, movie-lovers have been enjoying Moonlight with confidence this season.

The February program is live now with another bumper month of films. Check out some of the highlights for February:

ADVANCE SCREENINGS
The February program features advance screenings of this year’s highly anticipated films. Multi-story romantic comedy Love, Weddings & Other Disasters follows the outlandish, odd and far from perfect relationships of people who work on weddings. Blackbird, starring Susan Sarandon, Sam Neill, Kate Winslet and Mia Wasikowska is a heart-wrenching story of a family brought together one last time by their terminally ill mother. Finally, Emily Blunt and Jamie Dornan fall in love amongst the hillsides of Ireland in Wild Mountain Thyme.

VALENTINE’S DAY LOVE STORIES
Moonlight has always been a space for lovers to relax on a romantic night out. This February, in the week leading up to Valentine’s Day, Moonlight turns up the heat with a week of romantic movies including: The Notebook, Crazy Rich Asians, A Star is Born and Clueless.

SPIELBERG SERIES
One of the greatest directors in the world, Steven Spielberg, has been behind some of the biggest blockbusters in modern times. In celebration of this cinematic legend Moonlight are screening a selection of his most adored films including: Jurassic Park, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial and Back to the Future^.

FAMILY FILMS
A favourite and affordable outing for families, Moonlight always delivers incredible kids films, and February is no different with The Croods: A New Age, Frozen, Penguin Bloom and The Witches all screening across the month.

SUMMER HITS
Moonlight will also be rescreening some of the popular new release films from 2020 including: superhero sequel Wonder Woman 1984, Aussie crime-thriller The Dry, revenge flick Promising Young Woman, and Liam Neeson’s latest action The Marksman.

Being a BYO* event, Moonlight is one of the easiest nights out to plan. Prepare a picnic of mouthwatering morsels, sweeties for the little ones or a bottle of bubbly; you can bring it all to Moonlight. And if you don’t have time to pack your own, Moonlight Cinema will have you covered with onsite food trucks offering up a licensed bar, pre-packed picnic boxes, tasty hot food and movie snacks.

With reduced capacities so guests can spread out and enjoy the Moonlight experience in comfort, sessions are sure to sell fast! Tickets for this starlit summertime experience are on sale now at https://www.moonlight.com.au/
