Australia’s favourite outdoor cinema, Moonlight Cinema will open its gates to eager film fans in Adelaide this week on Friday 11 December 2020.
Celebrating 25 years of movies under the stars, Moonlight’s December program is jam-packed with nostalgic hits, ready for another summer of starlit cinema and relaxed festive vibes.
OPENING NIGHT
Moonlight opens with a throwback! Go back in time to the very first Moonlight screening in 1995 and experience Tarantino’s timeless cult-classic Pulp Fiction, all over again, on the first night of Moonlight’s 25th anniversary season.
SUPERHERO SUNDAYS
Sundays at Moonlight will inject some action and adventure into your life with the best superhero films of the last decade screening every week, including: the triple Oscar-winning Black Panther; Thor’s race against time to save Asgard from destruction in Thor: Ragnarok; and Marvel’s favourite intergalactic ragtag group, Guardians of the Galaxy.
HITS FROM THIS YEAR

Families can enjoy Trolls World Tour, a sequel to 2016’s hit Trolls film, starring Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, James Cordon, and more.
The very best Australian talent will be proudly displayed at Moonlight with Rams, a heartfelt dramedy starring Sam Neill and Michael Caton as two warring brothers.
MUSICALS AT MOONLIGHT
Warm up those vocal cords and belt out hits from The Greatest Showman, starring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, and Zendaya; and immerse yourself in the dreamy magic of Paris in Moulin Rouge, with Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman.
