Halloween Film Review

By Tony Polese · On October 24, 2018

Released just in time for that time of year were we all looking for a little bit of a scare, Halloween embraces it’s original teen slasher genre roots with a gory extension of the Jason saga.

Creative videography is mixed with classic steak knife stabs as Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) attempts to finally overcome Jason and stop his rampage of senseless violence.
Though the script was a little stilted at times, the movie kept heart rates high with long builds of apprehensive tension, quick kills and surprise laughs.
If you’re looking for a movie date which will have you double checking your door locks at night you can see Halloween in cinemas nationwide from Thursday 25th October.
