Gold review

By Tony Polese · On February 2, 2017

Gold is based on a true story which will leave you amazed knowing that once you seen this movie. Matthew McConaughey is the lead actor in this movie where he plays Kenny Wells who is a prospector running his grandfather’s mining business.  But seems to spend more time in the bar and hence the business is in struggle town.

A vision takes him to Indonesia where he has a go at this mother lode.  Here, we meet his partner in crime, Mike Acosta (Édgar Rímarez) where they try to find copious amounts of gold in the Indonesian jungle. Do they find gold?  Will let you see the film to find out.

Through the movie, we sense a little Wolf of Wall Street in it.    The movie has plenty of twists and turns which illustrates the turbalant period Kenny had in his life.

The ending is supreme and a 5 star performance by Matthew McCaughey makes this one summer movie you need to go and see.
