BLOCKERS MOVIE REVIEW

By Tony Polese · On March 22, 2018

Blockers is a movie that tackles teen sexuality and parents inability to cope with their daughters coming of age.
Set on prom night 3 girls who have been best friends since kindergarten decide to make a pact to sleep with their prom dates, their parents find out about the pact and decide to try and stop them.
Thus begins a very long night in which the kids accidentally stay one step ahead of the parents they don’t know are pursuing them. Both halves of the tale are very funny and also really smart in how it treats both the adults and the kids.

The adults dealing with their panic about their daughters growing up drives them to ever more hilarious extremes.

The girls seem authentically teenage, wanting to drink, experiment and take drugs and their experiences through the night are equally as laughable as their parent’s adventures.
Blockers is funny and highly recommended.
