BlacKkKlansman might have a funny name, but it’s one of the greatest movies I’ve seen, and personally I think it should be a requirement for all people and students to watch, as it depicts real history and compares it to real life today, and what a truly a disappointing and shocking comparison…
Following an eager new police recruit, Ron Stallworth, who successfully manages to lead an undercover team and infiltrate the local division of one of the most frowned upon organisations, the Ku Klux Klan, hence the name of the movie, BlacKkKlansman.
Directed and produced by the incredible Spike Lee, who received a six-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival after the premier of the film, and with a cast of actors you will definitely recognise, this very well acted and well made film is one of the best I’ve seen this year.
I guarantee you will leave the cinema with a face of shock and be left with stirred up emotion even days after.
I can’t recommend higher that everyone goes to see this movie.
