A SUMMER HOLIDAY OF FAMILY BLOCKBUSTERS
AND FREE ARTS AND CRAFTS AT EVENT CINEMAS

Catch the summer’s biggest family blockbusters and enjoy a plethora of free film-themed arts and crafts at Event and BCC Cinemas these school holidays.

There are plenty of family films to choose from these summer holidays. Join the enigmatic Mary Poppins on a new whimsical adventure in the sure-to-be-hit Mary Poppins Returns; rally the family together for the animated remake of The Grinch.; surf the World Wide Web in Ralph Breaks the Internet; swing action with everybody’s favourite web-slinger Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse; discover a dragon utopia in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World; and watch the family-friend Transformer’s spin-off Bumblebee.

In celebration of the epic conclusion of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, select Event Cinema locations* around Australia will be magically transformed into a hidden dragon world. The FREE, immersive light installation offers up a dazzling spectacle where kids can lose themselves in the enchanting surrounds, grab a photo with Toothless and Light Fury, and go in search of other dragons from the beloved franchise. The Hidden World experience will run from December 16. How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World is in Cinemas 3 January.

Adding to the excitement of these newest blockbuster films, Event Cinemas are offering loads of fun free art activities, where kids can let their creativity run wild before or after the film with some awesome movie themed colouring-in tables and jam-packed craft stations.
