Ever wonder what happened half a century before Lord Voldemort was disembodied when he unsuccessfully Avada-Kedavra-ed Harry Potter at Godric’s Hollow?
Then be sure to enter the world of ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ by no other than the creator of the Harry Potter world, JK Rowling herself.
Forget London, forget Lord Voldemort, forget death eaters and follow Newt Scamander across the world to New York City not by Portkey or Floo network but by boat. Experience JK Rowling’s magical world in a more grown-up way in the all new ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ series.
Without giving anything away, get ready to have your breath taken away by all the magical creatures that practically live in Newt Scamander’s magical brown briefcase. Imagine this, what could go wrong when a few of Harry Potter world’s magical creatures (you know something similar to Fluffy the three-headed dog, Buckbeak the giant flying half eagle half horse, and Aragog the giant spider?) roam around New York City? Apparently, many many things could go wrong especially for muggles or no-mags in ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’.
Newt Scamander’s beasts-finding journey will sure provide you with lots of laughter, over the edge unease and hand-covering-mouth moments. This film will very much take you on an emotional roller coaster ride for one minute I was laughing, then aww-ing, then grabbing onto my cinema seat’s arms feeling intense then I found myself laughing again.
Easy to watch with full of subtle humour, romance, great effects, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a must watch for all you Harry Potter fans out there. It is still a must watch even if you’re not a Harry Potter fan because who doesn’t love magic and amazing magical creatures!
