‘CHAMPAGNE CABARET’ – BLANC DE BLANC ADELAIDE PREMIERE
Direct from sell-out seasons and London’s West End, the Adelaide premiere of sizzling new circus show BLANC de BLANC is coming to The Garden of Unearthly Delights from 17 February – 19 March 2017. Tickets for the Adelaide season are on sale from Thursday 20 October.
Selling-out its critically acclaimed run at the Sydney Opera House, BLANC de BLANC will serve up titillating acts to infatuate, illuminate and delight. It brings the finest cabaret and acrobatic talent from around the world into a wild, shimmering night – expect big moves, great tunes, lots of skin, and more than a few surprises.
“I wanted to create a new circus show, which I like to call a ‘champagne cabaret’ that transports the audience into a heady, bubble filled, overflowing, crazy party. Every act in the show is inspired by champagne, with giant bubbles, foam, a human champagne fountain and lots more surprises which I don’t want to give away!” Scott Maidment, BLANC de BLANC Director.
From the creative minds behind LIMBO and Madonna’s recent Rebel Heart Tour, this brand new production will have audiences immersed in a world of overflowing champagne bottles, sparkles and glimmer leaving every spectator bubbling with excitement.
BLANC de BLANC is directed by Scott Maidment (LIMBO, Fear & Delight, Cantina, Madonna’s recent Rebel Heart tour) and choreographed by Kevin Maher (who has choreographed for the likes of Justin Bieber, Britney Spears and Madonna), with costumes by James Browne (All Saints, Australian Idol).
BLANC de BLANC offers heady top notes followed by rich textures, a smooth body and an utterly unexpected finish. For an evening of breathless abandon, you’ll be in the right place!
