Blanc de Blanc Review – A Sensory Overload

By Tony Polese · On September 25, 2016

Strut and Fret Production House and Brisbane Festival presents

Blanc de Blanc

Words by Tracey Alexandra

Oh my giddy aunt how you made me blush… But I liked it!  Blanc de Blanc coming to Brisbane certainly brings to light the realisation this city is all grown up.  This show delights with wonders never before seen, certainly not to mainstream audiences. It was a spectre one was just transfixed with. Such a mixture of athleticism, provocateur, burlesque and ambience. It was decadent, like a warm liquor and a French starlight evening. A sensory overload. Come enjoy the art in motion and enjoy Blanc de Blanc and feel just a little bit naughty, just a little bit wild.  When the evening sadly ended, the audience’s reception on closing was surely the kiss of acceptance to this talented and unique wonder.
