Thebarton Town Hall officially opened on Monday 11 June 1928 as a venue for the community, a purpose that has been upheld for 92 years.
Here’s to many more generations of making memories at ‘Thebby the Beautiful!’
It has been a pleasure to hear your memories about the meaningful occasions you have experienced at Thebby over the past 92 years.
Thank you to everyone who has sent in their treasured stories about the wrestling, jazz nights, cinema screenings and many more events enjoyed in the glorious venue.
If you would like to share your stories, please send your memories to marketing@thebartontheatre.com.au, we would love to hear them!
HEADING BACK TO THE THEATRE

An Evening With…
Last week, our sister venue, Holden Street Theatres, announced the first live performance program in SA since COVID-19, An Evening With…
In just 5 hours after tickets went on sale, 4 of the 5 acts sold out!
The popularity of HST’s program shows that our community is ready to get back to live entertainment.
HST will uphold all social distancing regulations to ensure our community stays safe.
Congratulations Holden Street Theatres and thank you for welcoming us back to the theatre again!
