In 2017, Melbourne synth-pop artist NUSSY was diagnosed with a benign cyst in one of her vocal folds. After the surgery, NUSSY was unable to speak or sing for several months, putting her music career on hold. Following a full recovery, 2018 sees the return of NUSSY with the new single ‘Tremble’, a shimmering and bouncy pop number, an ode to the club dance-floor. With premieres on triple j Home & Hosed and Red Bull Music, ‘Tremble’ is about “having an instant attraction, a connection with someone – that moment when your eyes meet across the dance floor, you’re covered in sweat, probably a bit intoxicated and you think “I am going home with you tonight“” – NUSSY With last year performing alongside Asta and making her Singaporean debut at Music Matters, NUSSY is ready to take her live show to Canadian Music Week this May with homeland shows in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane.
