Kate Campbell is a born and bred Adelaidian who temporarily moved to Sydney 5 years ago, only to experience a calling and return to her hometown of Adelaide a short while ago.
With an impressive work history of working at Sass & Bide, Fleur Wood and most recently participating in the Sydney Fashion Week, Kate has set up her brand new boutique store in the heart of Hyde Park, where she stocks some designs and prints of bohemian-themed dresses, playsuits, tops, blouses, jumpsuits, skirts, and swimwear.
We at Eventalaide were invited to the launch of Kate’s newest store – Coltish – where we were treated to delicious cakes and yummy, healthy juices courtesy Nutrition Republic. As part of the grand opening, all invitees were also treated to a special offer – a 10% discount on all purchases made on the night.
It didn’t take long for bloggers to empty those racks of beautiful clothing and don the prints of bohemian chic on themselves! It was a very social event with recognizable faces, such as Adelady, The Adelaidian, The Gracious Life, Pieces Of Me, and The Streets Of Adelaide (to name a few).
There is an extensive variety of clothes that Coltish has to offer – some of the labels include Sarah Jane Knapp, Isabelle Quinn, Isidora the label, Vama Style and Grace Bijoux Jewellery. Cult-classic brands such as The Cassette Society, Somedays Lovin’ and Mink Pink will also be making a regular appearance in-store. In addition to that, Kate’s own swimwear label is also available for sale.
It is refreshing to see that a boutique such as Coltish, which provides local Australian fashion design labels a home under one roof!
