Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival (ABBF) is returning in all its glory from July 15– 17 at the Adelaide Showground, featuring a line-up of on-point emerging and established brewers from all over Australia, today they announce the first 60, with another massive announcement incoming in a fortnight.
ABBF invites you to welcome the first 60 brewers appearing at the July festival, which features some of Australia’s most sought out and innovative breweries. Heading south for winter will be hype and award magnets (and rightly so) from all over the country like serial collaborators Range (QLD) and Mountain Culture (NSW), Dainton (Vic), BentSpoke (ACT), Fox Friday (Tas) and Otherside (WA). Industry heavyweights such as Moon Dog, Hop Nation, Young Henry’s and Fixation will present alongside local heroes Big Shed, Prancing Pony and Pirate Life.

Others making their maiden voyage to ABBF (a lot to SA in general) are Banks, Dollar Bill, Deeds, Killer Sprocket, (non-alch pioneers) Heaps Normal, Noodledoof, Wild Life and The Mill (Vic), Philter and Better Beer (NSW), Nowhereman, Otherside and Matso’s (WA) and locals Bowden and Kick Back to name a few.
The diverse line-up of locals include independent brewing icons Coopers, Drinkeasy Award winners Uraidla Brewing, Barossa based Western Ridge, Southeast brewers Loophole, and western suburbs trendsetters Shapeshifter, plus many more.
Co-director of Beer & BBQ festival Aaron Sandow said the first beer announcement is frothing with talent that he can’t wait to get amongst.
“The calibre and diversity of the brewers announced today is so pleasing. It’s going to make for a ripper fest and there’s still so many more brewers and beverage makers to be announced, it’s going to be special.”

“ABBF has always prided itself on attracting the best brewers in the country, including many that our punters may have never seen before, and sitting them beside our local heroes. Without the brewers, we have no festival, so we are so grateful that they have stuck with us and are as keen as ever to be a part of the fest.”
This is only the first chapter of the beverage line-up; there are dozens more brands to be announced in a fortnight’s time including wineries, distillers and some very special collaborations.
Tickets to the first three sessions of the weekend are all onto final release with weekend passes 100% sold out.
