- It was a straight sets kind of day with all singles matches being won in straight sets in the day session. Felix Auger-Aliassime who has secretly going about his business on the outside courts beat Giron easily and deservedly so gets to make an appearance finally on centre court tomorrow for the semi finals. He will take on Miomir Kecmanovic who beat a qualifier in straight sets.
- With aniticaption building for the local boy Thanasi Kokkinnakis to take the centre court tonight, news broke though at The Drive around 5:30pm with Thansi Kokkinakis pulling out of the tournament due to shoulder issues. See his apology video on our Facebook page.
- Korda now moves through to the semi finals in what should be a cracking match against Tommy Paul. That also means that there are now no more Aussie players in the main draw of the Adelaide International Tournament.
- It’s ladies night on centre court tonight with two women’s quarter finals taking the prime time stage. And on the night schedule, Madison Keys proved she is a contender to take out the title with a demolition straight sets win over Daria Kasitina in under one hour.
