A short, sharp and fiery play delving into the bleakness of the heroin scourge in 80s Edinburgh. Graphic, confrontational and with intense audience interplay – this show is not for the faint hearted. Though every performance is solid, the standout for me was Gavin Ross as protagonist Mark Renton; his on-stage presence lending a raw, darkly comic perspective throughout. Definitely worth seeing… if you can stomach it.
