Melbourne International Comedy Festival Review – The Best of British

By Tony Polese · On April 10, 2017

This comedy show will give you the best variety of performers the comedy festival has to offer. The show featured Dan Willis as the host, Kai Humphires, Markus Birdman, Rory Lowe and Andrew Stanley. All of whom knew how to get the audiences night starting with a bang of laugher. Given the magnificent legacy of comedians produced by this small, wet and witty island, expectations are always set high. It should be duly noted that the line-up changes each night.

My sympathies went out to the new couple in the front row as they had gotten their fresh relationship questioned on every aspect by Andrew Stanley… it was absolutely due to other members of the audience asking the poor couple the unanswerable questions of a relationship.

The Best of British is located at the Exford hotel and they have ‘the after party’ from 10:30pm which offers free stand-up comedy with different comedians every night.
