This is a local Adelaide troupe comprising 6 men and 2 women who take physical circus to the next level.
This is high energy from the outset and you soon realise the element of sheer physical fitness combined with high energy and a lot of trust in your fellow performers! One minor slip in concentration would result in potentially serious injury.
It is also obvious how much fun and enjoyment they get from their performance and the crowd were constantly wowed by incredible feats of strength, balance and poise. Midway through there was one section that I thought went a little bit long, where one of the men used his body for a rhythmic percussion segment – very clever but a tad too long. Though I have a feeling this was a time to give the entire group a much-needed and well-deserved rest.
With what came in the last half of the show I don’t begrudge that brief interlude! The last 5 minutes or so were jaw-dropping, with the two females being thrown around the stage by the males like they were floppy rag dolls – truly amazing.
Definitely make the time to go and see this show, I am positive you will not be disappointed!
