Based on the television drama Game of Thrones, devoted fan Graeme recreates a version of his own with this quirky performance, which is more light-hearted, funny and a little over-the-top. Even if you don’t follow the show entirely, you will thoroughly enjoy it.
Direct from the UK, Graeme and his two friends each take turn playing different characters from the series using various props such as toy dogs, puppets, capes, wigs and even ham as they pop in and out on stage teasing and taunting each other.
Naturally there were fighting scenes with fake violence and gore but was hysterical, and also a little strange. The audience loved the simulated sex scenes between actors who wore skin sleeves with large genitalia. It didn’t leave much to the imagination.
There was also a scene depicting Sansa Starks’s first period which left the men in the audience feeling overwhelmed, and the women laughing out loud as red paper was shot from a cannon.
Each act showed off their theatrical talent as individuals dancing, singing, and doing different accents and voices.
The show was a great parody of a very dark drama, which made it fun and entertaining. Worth going along to.
