Adelaide Fringe Review – Auslusion Gadzookz

By Tony Polese · On February 28, 2019

Reviewer: Dale Anninos-Carter

What: Auslusion Gadzookz!
Where: Ayers House, 288 North Terrace, Adelaide
Genre: Magic

Presented by: Auslusion
Alright, I’m just going to say it – it’s probably nothing you haven’t seen before. You know, someone’s name appears in a closed envelope, or someone’s name ends up on a playing card in
a deck. However the duo makes their show funny by pulling some puns and dropping some jokes…and sometimes taking the piss of their own ‘magic’.

Perhaps Auslusion is more suited to the kids – I’m sure they would gain great amusement from a bottle ‘disappearing’ from a bag. Audience involvement is a key part for this show, so be prepared
to be selected from the intimate sized crowd.

You’ve gotta give it to them for trying though, I sure don’t know anyone who can do these tricks! Just be prepared for 40 minutes of it.
